Nelson Handwriting – Making Presentation our Focus at Eyrescroft Primary School

At Eyrescroft, presentation is important to us.  Being able to write quickly, comfortably and legibly, so that we can communicate our amazing learning, is a key part in getting ready for life beyond school.

Nelson, Penpals for Handwriting, is the scheme that we teach and learn from, so that every child and every teacher is pushing for the same high expectations consistently across school. From Reception to Year 6, we introduce cursive handwriting in step-by-step stages.
